A SAFE WAY TO MEASURE

From casing to tubing, a solution to consistently secure accurate measurements.

Patent Pending

Built by the ones in the field.

Not to be left to collect dust in a Pelican case in the corner of your shop.

The On Target Measuring System is built to make measuring easier than a traditional rig tape and tally book, and with the procedures needed to ensure confidence in your casing tally.

Example of measuring in field:

With the use of ‘Time of Flight’, laser technology:

measuring has never looked this easy.

Example of Target Plate in field use:

The use of a Target Plate, which is placed a end of joint to be measured, gives a target for measuring device to hit.

Safety Features

  • By measuring through the pipe, it allows personel to keep from bending down on your hands and knees to read a rig tape; especially if you’re on hand & knees on casing that’s up in the air, on racks.

  • With no rig tape to drag and twist across casing, means less handling of the pipe.

  • Only requires two operators to record measurements

  • At just under 1.5 pounds, it is the lightest casing tally system known on the market

Ways measuring by hand can fail

  • Reading measurement from tape incorrectly

  • Communicating measurement incorrectly

  • Hearing measurement incorrectly

  • Writing down measurement incorrectly

  • Transferring measurement from tally sheet to well management software incorrectly

Ways On Target Measuring works

  • Reading: A simple point and shoot, with pre-determined thread loss data from API, means NO GUESSING where threads end.

  • Communicating: The measuring device saves all measurements taken with onboard memory, meaning; A measurement taken, is a measurement saved.

  • Hearing: Only communication needed is when to move onto the next measurement.

  • Writing: All measurements taken are transferred to your computer via cable connected Type-C USB Cable. No Hand-typing or Handwriting

  • Transferring: Once tally email received, a ‘copy and paste’ into well site software of your choice makes this a breeze.

Example of casing tally

  • Simple, straight forward way to connect the numbered pipe on the rack, with its length.

  • With out the need to break out the calculator, you can take a glance and see where the depth is on any joint.

  • With the space to record notes tied to individual joints, it gives the ability to lay your casing string out the way it may need.
